The Sr. Manager of Partner Marketing will manage the development
and implementation of a channel marketing and communications
strategy to drive high-performing pipeline generation programs and
increase partner engagement and enablement. The role will leverage
corporate marketing outputs to develop partner focused, multi-touch
campaigns and enablement plans. This role will be responsible for
establishing key performance indicators and tracking performance of
our partner marketing to drive pipeline acceleration and continual
improvements. This role will work closely with internal teams
including the Channel Alliance team, demand generation, marketing
and sales operations, content marketing, direct sales, partner
enablement, and product marketing. The Sr. Manager of Partner
Marketing with manage a team responsible for building relationships
and communicating with and for our focus partners.
Job Description
Mange, mentor, and lead Partner Marketing group in building
cohesive channel marketing plans aligned to sales priorities and
revenue targets. Develop and nurture relationships with our channel
partners and work jointly to create co-branded, end-to-end
campaigns and activities that align with sales priorities and
revenue targets. Lead internal planning with partner sales and
marketing leadership to develop channel demand generation plans,
establish quarterly metrics and goals, and identify areas of
opportunity and risk. Develop overall campaign strategy by
partnering with key stakeholders to analyze success of partner
program tactics including partner promotions, email, webinars,
in-person events, social media, direct mail, paid advertising, SEO,
etc. Support team in creating and maintaining monthly forecast on
key metrics (MQLs, pipeline, closed won business, conversion rates)
by partner/partner type and report on performance to executives.
Build overall plan to measure partner performance and delivery and
assist in the development of best practices to improve engagement.
Collaborate with Marketing Communications and Product Marketing to
create joint positioning, messaging, and buyer personas to improve
target segments and increase demand. Develop content and messaging
deliverables that outline the benefits, terms, and rules of
engagement that support the channel program. Own partner marketing
budget, determine appropriate spend based on program tactics, and
make adjustments to improve return on investment and/or report on
any overspend. Manage internal and external partner program
communications (newsletters, webinars, etc) and communications
calendar. Work with the sales enablement team to ensure partner
readiness for new offerings, services initiatives, and program
updates. Lead in the development of to-partner marketing programs
to drive engagement and loyalty of AvidXchange's partner program.
Work with operations and IT business leads to deliver on the
infrastructure for a seamless partner experience, including
through-partner marketing, the Partner Portal, MDF and incentive
management. Facilitate executive alignment between AvidXchange and
partner leadership-managing executive business reviews, dashboards
and reporting. Experience, Qualification, and Skills
Deep understanding of partner ecosystem and experience in
developing joint marketing programs with marketing channel
partners. Proven success in building demand generation plans from
planning to completion, including email nurturing, webinars,
events, and account-based marketing. Ability to work independently
and in a fast paced/complex environment. Effective at project
management, with the ability to take initiative and manage multiple
projects at once and deliver within deadlines. Experience using
project management tools, such as Asana. Experience using a partner
relationship management platform such as WebInfinity. Experience
using key marketing reporting tools such as Salesforce and Google
Analytics. Strategic understanding of marketing automation
platforms such as Marketo, lead scoring strategies, and the
marketing funnel stages (MQL, SQL, etc.). Understanding of
marketing metrics and funnel analytics to optimize campaigns, and
ability to deliver feedback on best strategies to drive demand.
Proven ability to manage a high-volume of partner marketing
communication initiatives simultaneously, using multiple digital,
print and offline channels. Writing skills appropriate for demand
generation (email, web, social, and campaign ads). Communicate
effectively on a regularly scheduled cadence between stakeholders
to ensure alignment on goals and objectives. Comfortable presenting
virtually and in person, both internally and externally (webcast,
user conferences, etc.). Strong leadership and communication skills
in delivering vision and strategy for campaigns to senior
executives. Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
7-10 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a channel
marketing role Experience in a B2B technology, consulting or
services company Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
(or equivalent experience) Experience in multi-tier distribution
