Job Description:

Responsibilities:- Assist with financial analysis and reporting- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger- Assist with the preparation of financial statements- Conduct research on accounting standards and regulations (GAAP)- Assist with financial management tasks, such as budgeting and forecasting- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and ensure accuracy- Support the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents- Perform double entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial recordsSkills:-Bachelor degree required in either Accounting/FinanceStrong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)- Proficiency in double entry bookkeeping- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports- Knowledge of journal entries and financial statement preparation- Familiarity with financial services industry and related regulations- Understanding of wills, trusts, and estate law is a plus- Excellent financial management skills- Strong financial acumen and attention to detail- Ability to work with debits and credits effectivelyPlease note that this is an entry-level position, so we are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and grow in their accounting careers.
