Job Description:
Trinity Episcopal School is seeking a Director of Admission and
Financial Support who will lead all aspects of recruitment,
admission, enrollment and awarding financial support as part of
fulfilling the mission of Trinity Episcopal School. The Director of
Admission will report to the Head of School and will serve on the
Senior Administrative Team and work closely with all the
departments that support the life of the school, particularly our
students. The Director of Admission and Financial Support supports
the work of the School by promoting the mission, values, and
policies of Trinity Episcopal School. Essential Responsibilities
include the following:
- Plan admissions calendar.
- Respond to and initiate contact with prospective families.
- Coordinate campus visits and interviews for families and
students (group and individual).
- Plan and schedule tours for all prospective families
- Participate in group observations.
- Plan and coordinate open houses and information sessions.
- Coordinate the High School Fair in the fall
- Participate in and plan outreach opportunities alongside the
Head of School
- Conduct fairs and recruiting events
- Supervise all testing, individual and group, including the ISEE
Exam
- Work with the Director of Marketing/Communications regarding
annual advertising placements
- Coordinate volunteers working with admissions efforts
(including new family orientation).
- Counsel families during the admission process.
- Communicate admission decisions.
- Manage waiti pool.
- Assist Lower School and Middle School with placement of new
students.
- Manage re-enrollment process for returning students.
- Maintain admission and enrollment statistical data.
- Participate with directors from other schools
- Support inclusion of new students and their families throughout
the school year.
- Coordinate communications regarding admissions with the Board
of Directors and liaison committees.
- Target recruitment for students of color
- Oversee financial support process and distribution.
- Coordinate post-Trinity transitions to other schools.
- Obtain records for all prospective students.
- Support 8th grade students in their transition to high
school
- Select named endowment candidates SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the Associate Director of Admission, the Registrar and
two Front Office Receptionists. The Registrar works half time with
admissions, maintaining student portfolios on FACTS and managing
all prospective student information and transcripts. The other half
time is publishing report cards for Lower and Middle School. The
successful candidate will have the following qualities:
- Familiarity with and a commitment to the mission of independent
schools and Trinity Episcopal School, and a commitment to our three
primary values of scholarship, diversity, and spirituality is a
must
- A love for students and a willingness to go above and beyond in
the best interests of students
- Integrity, sound judgment, self-confidence, maturity and a
sense of perspective
- A high level of energy and ability to work on multiple
tasks/projects
- Ability to model, promote, and provide opportunities for
students to live into the Trinity Honor Code
- Demonstrate sensitivity to students, faculty, and staff of
varying racial, ethnic, religious, gender, cultural, disability,
sexual orientation, and socioeconomic backgrounds Education and
Work Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- A background in education is a plus but not a requirement
- Presenting in front of large groups and giving tours Skills and
Qualifications
- Confidentiality, discretion and good judgment are

- There will be some Saturday and evening hours
