We are a leading staffing firm and our clients include some of the biggest companies in the nation. Our client has a need for a Accounting Specialist. This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Applicant must be eligible to work in the US for immediate opening. -For this opportunity, the successful candidate will be directly employed by Bartech Staffing as a W2 employee while providing services to our end client. Accounting Specialist - - - - - - - Job Responsibilities - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Your specific duties as a Accounting Specialist will include:

• Job Title: Accounting Specialist
• Location: Plainfield, IN
• Pay Rate: $22/HR
• Length: 12-month contract (eligible to extend/convert)
• Schedule: Onsite, day shift
• Uses established Invoicing processes and standards to audit construction and non-construction invoices
• Reconciles and approves vendor invoices to ensure compliance with contract provisions by reviewing timesheets, equipment charges, and construction order requirements to ensure vendors get paid in a timely fashion.
• Audits work order materials, labor, and equipment to ensure actual field construction matches vendor???s invoiced amount.
• Communicates to external stakeholder information about rejected invoices
• Monitors and tracks the status of post-audit corrections to ensure accurate and timely payment.
• Works independently to resolve invoice issues
• Demonstrates strong computer skills and ability to learn quickly
• Exhibits flexibility and dependability during normal work schedule
• Prioritizes work effectively Accounting Specialist Job Requirements As a Accounting Specialist you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. - It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma/GED and n addition to required diploma, two (2) years minimum of related work experience Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor???s degree in business, accounting, or other business related field.
    • Three years related experience
    • Complex Accounts Payable experience
