JOB TITLE; FINANCIAL ANALYSTLOCATION; CHARLOTTE, NCRATE RANGE; 30-32 PER HOURJOB # 23-01232JOB DESCRIPTION:Job Specific Requirements:ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a Financial analyst to support the Commercial HVAC FP&A team located in Charlotte, global headquarters. The incumbent will gain exposure of working in a global organization, be part of the Commercial HVAC Finance team and work closely with our Finance senior leadership.We want to speak with you if you are comfortable in a high-performing, fast-paced environment and can adapt quickly to produce meaningful outcomes, with unquestionable integrity and a commitment to quality.You will be primarily responsible for actively supporting financial reporting, analysis and consolidation of the Commercial HVAC portfolio covering P&L, balance sheet, and related performance metrics. The role will also have oversight for functional budgeting and interact on need basis with many areas of the business outside of FP&A (accounting, engineering, supply chain, operations). Therefore, the ability to work with data and know how to translate that data into meaningful analysis is crucial.RESPONSIBILITIESHFM maintenance, uploads, report creation, and consolidationPreparation, analysis, and reporting of monthly forecast and close at Commercial HVAC level. This will involve preparation of Commercial HVAC level metrics & using the regional level information to prepare variance commentary at overall CML level.Evaluate monthly actual results for reasonableness & perform variance analysis to Plan / Prior Year / Prior Estimate including partnering with BU finance teams to understand their financial performance.Prepare the monthly management databook & analytics capturing relevant financial metrics & key KPI's.Prepare financial roadmaps covering profit and key P&L items & compares with different scenarios (Plan / Prior Year / Prior estimates)Provide support for senior executive presentationsSupport the development and consolidation of the Annual Operating Plan.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS3-5 years in FP&A, Operations Finance Strategy with a bachelor's degree.Hands on experience on HFM, Hyperion is a must.Knowledge of US GAAP, reporting requirements, financial analysis techniques, and budgeting/forecasting processes, financial/cost analysis, and budgeting/forecasting skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSDemonstrated analytical and spreadsheet development skills (Excel), conversant with preparing management level presentations (use of Microsoft PowerPoint)Able to work with minimal direction and possess strong organization skills critical to achieve reporting deadlinesExceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to work with fellow employees and senior management.Adaptable, detail-oriented and works well within a collaborative teamProven business acumen and creative problem-solving skillsCarrier Corporation is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
