Please review the following job description:
Provide analysis and testing of Commercial Lending Portfolios, with a high attention to detail on a timely basis and in a manner that is consistent with department procedures. Participate in file reviews or similar activities applying expert judgment to assess decision quality and ensure loans are approved in accordance with the Bank's risk appetite and adhere to credit policy and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform targeted testing of complex credit transactions on a regular basis


  • Assess levels of adherence to credit policies, procedures and processes, and identify control improvements in areas with high complexity


  • Perform testing to support resolution of Regulatory/Audit issues


  • Provide feedback to leadership and teammates on continuous improvement opportunities


  • Review credit packages of the highest complexity within the assigned lending segment


  • Lead or participate in department projects or other duties as assigned


    QUALIFICATIONS
    Required Qualifications:

    • College degree or equivalent work experience of 8 years in the financial industry


    • Specific experience in the areas of risk management and/or credit/underwriting


    • Professional communication and presentation skills


    • Strong relationship management skills


      5.Strong PC skills including standard Microsoft Office Products and database application
      Preferred Qualifications:


      • Master's degree with 10 years of work experience in credit, operational or compliance preferably in a centralized lending environment


      • Project management experience


      • Knowledge of related banking industry or division
