Senior Data Control & Automation Analyst (Tableau/Alteryx)

Banking or Financial Experience

Description:
Assume ownership of current Treasury Data Management controls across multiple Banking / Treasury / Traded products. Ownership will include designing, building, implementing, and maintaining data controls and automation routines for Liquidity / Regulatory Reporting.
Work on automating current processes and controls using emerging technologies (but not limited to ) Alteryx, Tableau, etc.
Successful candidate needs to have in-depth experience in SQL, various databases and data control concepts.
Help generate control checks and automation to execute reports on data quality breaks and data validation.
Drives and participates in design, development and implementation of future Treasury data controls.
Liaise with Global Liquidity Management (GLM), Technology team and other Data Management analysts to communicate control status and escalate issues according to defined process.
Data Control Governance - ensure process controls, data validation activities, automation routines and measurement processes all remain timely and relevant.
Create and maintain required documentation and evidence to ensure adherence to EDM Standards and RDA requirements.
Self-motivated to work with minimal to no supervision on Corporate Treasury control and automation projects.
The ideal candidate need to have good experience working with technology centric projects in past.
Knowledge of Agile SDLC is plus.
Operational Excellence Improving Treasury Data Management functions for production, data governance, data change and regulatory/audit activities.
Change Management - Validates data and signs off on reports within test environments to confirm application accuracy, functionality and EDM Standards are met.

Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree / or equivalent work experience
5+ years bank experience, or other data control environment
Proficiency with Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, and database concepts
In depth hands-on experience querying and analyzing large sets of data using SQL
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be creative, and be able to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Power Point) including advanced excel functions
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities needed to perform complex data analysis
Strong verbal and written communication skills with teammates and leadership within Treasury Data Management (TDM)
Ability to create executive-ready presentations
Ability to research and take lead on addressing issues

Desired Skills:
Technical background with data related projects
Knowledge and prior experience with Liquidity Reporting / Regulatory reporting
Strong knowledge and prior experience with Data Controls monitoring and/or Data Control governance practices
Familiarity with Client Enterprise Data Management Policy & Standards

3 Must Have Qualifications:
Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Data concepts
Data Analyst Experience (Acceptable experience includes Financial Data Reporting, Data Governance or Data Control)
Banking or Financial Experience
