Together, we discover ideas and connect the dots to build a better and bold new future.Wipro is hiring for a Business Development Director with a strong focus on hunting new logos within the Banking & Financial Services domain. *This position can be located in the Charlotte metro area, or the NJ/NY corridor, no exceptions. The purpose of the role is to build new relationships, seed new projects that lead to larger, long- term services relationships and build bold value propositions relevant to C-Suite executives resulting in large, long-term relationships. This position will be focused on new sales origination and hunting new logos and target accounts, with the expectation to scale new revenue growth.

  • Builds CXO connects - Nurtures the client over a period of time.
  • Understands client problems, offers a solution to deliver business impact by bring the 'best of Wipro' resources
  • Hunts and develops new business within the Banking & Financial Services segment, via organic efforts and target account list
  • Strong focus on growth and winning logos with long-term potential (e.g., large deals)
  • Leverage alliances(cloud, digitaletc)and external partnershipsto identify different areas wherejoint proposition/ solutioncan be delivered to a customer
  • Identify key decision makers in client organization and industrytodevelop and strengthen relationships with themandbecome a trusted advisor for them Preferred Experience / Requirements:
    • Senior Business Development Executive (Hunter), with proven track record of breaking new accounts and scaling new growth within the Banking & FS.
    • 12-15+ years of IT Services/ Portfolio Sales experience via a professional services or consulting firm.
    • 5+ years of experience selling IT services/solutions and developing new business logos within the Banking & Financial Services domain.
      • Demonstrated quota achievement in complex selling environments utilizing a IT solution selling model and good understanding of customers' business initiatives and its implication on the process and technology landscape
      • Experience monitoring sales trends around the target new clients, market dynamics and incorporate into existing business development strategy plans.
      • Track-record of increasing deal signing margins through consultative selling, single source deals and a coordinated sales strategy.
