Senior AccountantOur well-established, publicly traded manufacturing client seeks a full-time Senior Accountant to join their team! This is a high-visibility role that involves collaboration with leadership to ensure accurate and efficient reporting. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment with a global team, this could be the place for you!This is a remote position, but candidate must be based in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia.Responsibilities of the Senior AccountantPrepare and analyze financial statements; report findings to business leaders.Review balance sheet for accuracy and compliance; resolve discrepancies as needed.Support audit processes and assist with external audit requests.Provide recommendations on process improvements and efficiencies.Additional projects and ad-hoc reporting as requested.Senior Accountant QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA required.2+ years of related experience; public accounting and/or multi-entity manufacturing background a plus.Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC requirements; exposure to consolidations preferred.Proficient with ERP systems and/or consolidation software.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail.Salary: $75k- $100k (DOE)BenefitsBenefits are available to eligible full-time employees and include coverage for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, employee assistance program, tuition reimbursement, and matching 401k.About VanderHouwenVanderHouwen is an award-winning, Women-Owned, WBENC certified professional staffing firm.
