Resilience is seeking a highly engaged Sr. Manager, Procurement Operations to join our growing Global Procurement and Sourcing Team. The Global Procurement and Sourcing team fuels our growth by driving exceptional global operations and processes supporting our growing sites.In this role, you will be responsible for providing mission-focused leadership for Procurement Operations, Accounts Payable, Corporate Card, and T&E program functions. As a Senior Manager, you will help drive the network procurement strategy, collaborating with the sites to design, and execute global initiatives that are aimed at making our site operations significantly more scalable, reliable, and outcome-oriented. In addition, in line with our agile way of working, you will also pitch in on high priority, ad-hoc, and critical run-the-business initiatives including annual business planning and governance.The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication and project management skills and a background in managed services, the practice of outsourcing the responsibility for maintaining, and anticipating the need for, a range of processes and functions to improve operations and reduce expenses. They will be a self-starter with a bias towards independent problem solving, a passion for identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, and has the foresight to anticipate business needs, make tradeoffs, and balance business dynamics despite constraints. Business acumen, judgment, attention to detail, an ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups and a willingness to be hands-on are essential pre-requisites for success in this role. You must be able to operate at a strategic level, while simultaneously being able to dive deep into the details of the processes within the entire life cycle to drive results.About the roleThis role requires significant engagement with matrix partners and leaders from across Resilience to provide policy, systems, and process guidance and to help identify and drive complex intake-to procure and procure-to-pay (P2P) program initiatives; therefore, the ideal leader will effectively navigate complex challenges and opportunities while building great relationships across Resilience. If you are highly motivated, detail oriented, and desire to make big contributions in a fun, fast-paced and collaborative team environment, we encourage you to apply.Essential Duties:Support a high-performing Intake to Procure and Procure to Pay Operations function:

  • You will support and inspire a dynamic intake-to-procure and procure-to-pay function staffed by highly engaged managers and individual contributors; help to provide direction, coordination, coaching and mentoring to team members across Global Procurement and Sourcing
  • Be a driver, collaborator, influencer working closely with Finance and across the enterprise
  • Serve as functional owner of Resilience Group's procure-to-pay software solution (COUPA) and intake-to-procure software solution (ZIP)
  • Function as Resilience Group's resident P2P operations authority, providing procedural guidance and direction to a broad group of partners and distilling simple solutions from complex problemsDrive Operational Excellence and Compliance:
    • Develop and deliver reporting and meaningful business insights on operational procurement metrics
    • Monitor and respond to supplier issues; review and approve proposed transactions and transactional models
    • Work with Corporate Finance, Product Management & Quality, Accounting, Operations, and other partners to continuously improve procurement software solutions and processes, with an eye toward efficiency, automation, user experience and appropriate controls
    • Ensure a seamless linkage across the entire P2P process
    • Monitor financial commitments, cash management, and actuals associated with purchases and payments, and coordinates with Accounting team members on related issues
    • Responsible for maintenance and enforcement of Resilience Group's procure-to-pay and corporate card policies
    • Assume ownership over the operation and certification of the controls around the P2P and corporate card cyclesRequirements
      • Bachelor's Degree in an accounting, business, supply chain, or related discipline. MBA or related advanced degree strongly preferred
      • Ten + years of proven experience providing leadership in increasingly broader procurement operations roles with a consistent track record of achievement and procure-to-pay transformation in high-growth environments
      • Experience managing corporate credit card programs highly desirable
      • Credible, hands-on, reliable leader with a focus on development and mentoring of team members
      • Strong organizational and customer service skills, along with excellent presentation and communication skills
      • Significant demonstrated "functional ownership" experience with robust procure-to-pay software solutions such as Coupa, Dynamics 365, Ariba, Workday or similar tools
      • Strong knowledge of Procurement processes, practices, and control frameworks
      • Professional designation such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) desirable
      • Demonstrated experience partnering with Sourcing, Vendor Management, and other Procurement and Finance teams to deliver strong strategic procurement experience for key business partners across a broad spectrum of business areas/spend categories
      • Experience at identifying and capturing cost savings and operational improvement opportunities
      • Ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities and multi-task effectively
      • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
      • Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency, attention to detail and financial/analytics acumen
      • Strong sense of accountability and integrity
