About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Risk
Analytics Consultant...In this role, you will:
- Act as an advisor to experienced leadership to develop,
influence, and interpret analysis for monitoring and oversight of
portfolio and deliver insight and decision strategies, with long
term goals for highly complex business analysis and modeling
companywide
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique
challenges requiring strategic, advanced analytical, inductive
thinking, and performance monitoring
- Extract data to provide statistical and financial modeling
companywide, delivering solutions that are long term, large scale,
and require vision, innovation, and coordination of highly complex
activities and guidance to others
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to experienced
leadership on implementing innovative and significant business
solutions that are large-scale, companywide strategies
- Engage with all levels of professionals and managers
companywide
- Act as an expert advisor to experienced leadershipRequired
Qualifications, US:
- 7+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent
demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work
experience, training, military experience, educationRequired

- Understanding of model and data used to measure sales and
trading results and risk levels.
- Strong skills related to market risk and experience in Markets
environment. Knowledge and understanding of traded derivative and
cash products across all asset classes to effectively have
discussions with Front Office, Market Risk, quantitative staff
- Solid understanding of balance sheet, income statement,
returns, and cost of capital in a capital markets related
function
- Good knowledge of Basel/US banking regulatory agencies capital
rules related to capital markets/trading operations, and ability to
self-guide reading and interpreting new rules
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal
supervision in a structured environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
skills
- Ability to perform and succeed in a fast pace environment
- Graduate degree in quantitative field The Markets Financial
Resources Advisory team partners with the Market and Counterparty
Risk Management, Treasury, Technology and Front Office teams (among
others) to extract and analyze data relevant for deep dive on
Markets and Counterparty Risk capital and liquidity consumption
drivers. The team develops analytics to identify capital and
liquidity intensive activities, and develops with the desks
approaches to optimize the use of financial resources. We Value
