Job Overview: This role is part of the Procurement Analytics and Reporting team which supports Elior's Procurement Department. You will focus on developing and implementation of the in-depth analytical strategy to support the execution of compliance reporting, sourcing strategies, value optimization and supplier programs. The goal of the job is to develop best practices, create standardization reporting to maximize value which leads to strengthened relations with both suppliers and business partners. This position offers candidate to bring creative and out of the box thinking into a rather new and growing team. This role is remote with preference that the individual be based in the Eastern, US. Key Accountabilities:

  • Support Procurement Category Managers with Analytical Reporting including spend reporting, cost analysis and RFP support
  • Conduct market basket analysis to compare pricing between suppliers; must develop familiarity with product categories, suppliers, and contract terms
  • Maintain item master data, attributes, and category classifications of all catalog items
  • Administers the release of contract pricing from suppliers to the distribution network and work with Category Managers to accurately maintain a database of manufacturer and distributor rebates and pricing
  • Support transactional accounting functions in the areas of cash application, Accounts Receivable tracking / write-off processing and manual allowance invoicing
    Minimum Qualifications Required:
    • Undergraduate degree or equivalent business experience
    • Sharp analytical skills, 1+ years of experience analyzing large volumes of data
    • 1-3 years of general accounting experience
    • Advanced Excel skills required (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, power pivots)
    • Intermediate MS Access, Word, Outlook, and Power Point Skills
    • Master data experience, developing and maintaining attributes and category hierarchy structure
    • Must be able to analysis data, draw factual conclusions and provide recommendations
    • Understanding of GAAP accounting principles
    • Experience Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journal entries, invoices, and payments
    • Travel will be minimal for team meetings, etc.; less than 10% travel
      Preferred Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate Degree in related field, specifically Accounting/Finance
      • Power BI experience
      • Distribution or foodservice experience
      • Purchasing/procurement experience

        • High energy individual able to adapt to ever changing environment
        • Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously
        • Highly organized and ability to work well under pressure
