As a Sr. Audit Consultant you will be primarily responsible for developing new business, leading and delivering client engagements and serving as strategic advisor to clients related to claims audits. - You'll also be asked to contribute your thought leadership to the overall development of the Claims Audit practice and Health and Group Benefits business.The RoleThe incumbent will also:Assist clients to:Develop audit strategies that optimizes health plan performance by identifying and correcting problem areas, establishing a baseline for vendor performance, and developing standards to guide plan administrationDemonstrate due diligence and fulfil plan sponsor fiduciary responsibilities by determining whether benefit programs are administered accurately and in accordance with contractual agreementsConstruct benefit implementation audits for new vendors to focus on plan or benefit issues, vendor operations and customer serviceDevelop expert knowledge and experience of claims audit best practices, market trends, and products and services in the marketplace in order to contribute to the development of new tools, approaches and quality standards Raise awareness of Willis Towers Watson's claim audit capabilities in the marketplace through articles and conference speaking.Collaborate with colleagues to maximize the penetration of key accounts as they relate to claims audit servicesAdjust workloads as necessary to achieve successful completion of projectClearly communicate and professionally interact with client, vendor, audit team and colleaguesDeliver quality value-added reports to clients in a timely mannerDevelop working relationship with vendor counterpartsEfficiently utilize audit-specific analytic techniques, tools and processes Ensure that Professional Excellence protocols are followedMeet billable hours targetSeek opportunities to improve work processes and methods in pursuit of quality output and service delivery -The Requirements5+ years' experience in successfully selling claims audit services to employer clients, preferably gained in a benefits consulting or carrier environmentProven experience successfully managing multiple projects and producing quality deliverables on time and within budgetStrong client relationship, interpersonal and team skillsA professional presence with polished and well developed oral and written communication skillsSelf-starter attitude and ability to work with ambiguity Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issuesStrong analytical and creative skillsBusiness acumen to identify opportunities for additional Claims Audit or other human capital consulting work in support of our clients' strategiesThe ability to see the "big picture," leveraging the resources of related practices to address the clients' business challengesStrong intellectual curiosity and desire to keep abreast of latest developments in Claims Audit and health and group benefits plan strategy and contribute to the development of new tools and approachesAbility to work both independently as well as on a team, including interest in training/mentoring junior staffWorking knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)BA/BS degree Ability to travel up to 40%Willis Towers Watson may be subject to mandatory employment-related COVID-19 vaccination requirements. - Therefore, to the extent any such mandates apply, you may be required to certify and provide documentation of full vaccination against COVID-19 if you are hired in the U.S. If you accept an offer from WTW and are subject to a mandate but are unable or unwilling to be vaccinated because of medical reasons or sincerely-held religious beliefs, you may request a medical or religious accommodation. - If you require an accommodation, the Company will evaluate your request and work with you to identify reasonable alternatives to vaccination, if available. -Job: -Consulting -Primary Location: -United States-Florida-Tampa -Other Locations: -United States-Massachusetts-Boston, United States-Texas-Houston, United States-Texas-Dallas, United States-Georgia-Atlanta, United States-Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh, United States-Minnesota-Minneapolis, United States-Missouri-St. Louis, United States-North Carolina-Charlotte, United States-California-San Francisco, United States-Pennsylvania-Philadelphia, United States-Illinois-Chicago, United States-Michigan-Detroit, United States-Arizona-Phoenix, United States-California-Los Angeles, United States-Ohio-Cleveland -Schedule: -Full-time
