Our business lines are Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Middle Market Banking, and Treasury Management & Payment Solutions.Commercial Banking Operations-Pre-Close Covenant, part of the Commercial Banking Operations Group, has an opportunity for a Credit Analyst 1 to join their dynamic team! -Responsible for reviewing loan agreements, creating financial and covenant ticklers, and testing covenants for businesses and individuals to determine compliance.Functions Include:

  • Calculates compliance with the financial covenants placed in the customer's loan agreement.
  • Builds reporting requirements written into the customer's loan agreement.
  • Reading and understanding the accounting within the various types of financial statements.
  • Responding to banker inquiries
  • Contacting available sources for additional information when necessary
  • Identifies risks and communicates those findings to the front office
  • Ensures policies and procedures are adhered to***Job posting may be removed earlier than stated close date due to volume of applicants.This position is currently working remotely but will be expected to return to the location at a future point in time when Wells Fargo returns to the standard operating model.Employees support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.Required Qualifications
    • 6+ months of financial analysis experience demonstrated through work or military experienceDesired Qualifications
      • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
      • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
      • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
      • Direct experience working for a branch of the military or familiarity with the military as a service member's spouse or dependent
      • Military experience in personnel benefits management, processing military personnel orders or transitions, wartime readiness operations, human resources or military recruiting
      • Military intelligence or analytics experience including operational management, project management, mission evolution management and finance management
      • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
      • A BS/BA degree or higher in business, management, accounting, finance or economics
      • Experience analyzing accounting principles, tax returns, and business and personal financial statementsOther Desired Qualifications
        • Experience with one or a combination of the following systems: Credit View; Electronic Reporting and Compliance (ETRAC); FLO; EZ Request (EZR); Wholesale Banking Reporting System (WBRS); Automated Financial Systems (AFS) or Imaging and Content Management Platform (ICMP)Job Expectations
