Accountant My client are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role is being added to the existing accounting team, to ensure good work/life balance within the Accounting department. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a stable work environment and has a keen interest in managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in all transactions. Responsibilities: Maintain and oversee the general ledger. Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assist with monthly close processes. Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. Monitor financial data and prepare accurate reports for management and executives. Assist with financial audits, and collaborate with auditing services to ensure compliance. Implement and improve upon financial policies and procedures to enhance the workflow of the department. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven experience in general ledger accounting, or similar. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel). Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Salary is highly dependent on how closely your experience aligns to the requirements of the role.
