Job Description:
Position: Senior Analyst, Product services (Charlotte, North
Carolina) Duties: Provide support and maintenance for the Tibco suite of
applications to enable communication between financial applications on a
diverse array of platforms with varying interfaces. Participate in product
design and development meetings in order to anticipate issues and develop
preventive measures. Install, maintain and configure Tibco products. Assess
and identify appropriate changes and make recommendations for
implementation related to the Tibco suite of products. Identify defects, work
with the development team to correct code, and deploy in production.
Identify possible production failure scenarios, create incident tickets
or enhancements, and communicate with development and internal
business operations teams. Identify vulnerabilities and opportunities
for improvement, as well as maintain metrics to help develop
analysis that will drive improvement in all areas of Production Services. Create
and enhance administrative, operational and technical policies and
procedures, adopting best practice guidelines, standards and procedures. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or
related analytical field and 5 years of experience designing,
developing, and supporting Tibco enterprise applications; or in the alternative,
no degree and 7 years of experience as indicated above. Also requires: demonstrated expertise (DE) performing Tibco
administration, including configuration, production support, pre-deployment,
post- deployment, and verification on Tibco Business Works,
Administrator, and EMS; DE utilizing Tibco Hawk to develop code for automated
monitoring; DE monitoring integration of data systems into Data Power
platforms; DE utilizing Tibco Administrator, Business Works, and EMS to
design diagnostics to improve performance capacity; DE developing
stored procedures and queries into DB and MS SQL databases to extract
data for Tibco Administrator; and DE interfacing with development teams
throughout pre-deployment to perform unit testing, and working with
